I’m Jerome Ng. I live in Singapore, where I improve health with tech.

I’m a Research Fellow at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), where I’m part of IaaS Innovation for Community & Allied Health (ICAH), within SIT’s Innovation as a Service platform. We connect care providers, companies and researchers to develop and test practical solutions for ageing, rehabilitation and community care alongside the people who will use them.

My name is Jerome, and I was trained in my undergrad years to be a physiotherapist. Soon after, I found out about programming and that it was not as mysterious as it seemed originally.

After working as a physiotherapist at a children's hospital for a few years, I took the plunge and went for a career change to become a software engineer. I was glad that this went surprisingly smoothly!

Today, I bring together my background in physiotherapy and software engineering to help improve the lives of patients and healthcare workers through technology.
